Thank you to all of our clients who visited Tmat Boey over the past two years!

Last week, Sam Veasna Conservation Tours (SVC) joined the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), USAID Greening Prey Lang and Sansom Mlup Prey (SMP) in organising a Ministry on Environment (MoE) delegation to observe field activities and learn about key conservation achievements.

Excellency Neth Pheaktra, Secretary of State and Spokesman of the Ministry of Environment (MoE) led the ceremony where Sam Veasna Conservation Tour handed over $8,510 of Conservation Contributions to Tmat Boey Ecotourism Community. From those contributions, Tmat Boey Ecotourism Community provided $1,090 to Ministry of Environment rangers to support their patrolling activities.

These Conservation Contributions would not be possible without all the visitors to Tmat Boey.

From everyone at Sam Veasna Conservation Tours, Wildlife Conservation Society Cambodia and the Tmat Boey Ecotourism Committee, we thank you for your continued support.

A special thank you to our international partners; Naturetrek, Birdtour Asia, Wilderness Birding, Wings Birding Tours and Naturewin.

While this ceremony was a celebration of last year successes, this year we will be facing many difficult challenges. The effects of COVID-19 has already caused a dramatic spike in poaching activities including the killing of three Giant Ibis in a single event in April as well as 100 Painted Stork killed at Prek Toal.
