Starting Point

Phnom Penh

Two hours drive from Phnom Penh lays the peaceful town of Kampot that rests in the shadow of Bokor Mountain. From the southern coastline on the outskirts of Kampot to the evergreen forest on Bokor Mountain, this area holds a wonderful assortment of key birding species including the near-endemic Chestnut-headed Partridge and Great Hornbill to name but a few. As well as experiencing great birding spots, this is a perfect opportunity to explore a more relaxed side of Cambodia after a fantastic day of birding.
