Starting Point

Siem Reap

Join Sam Veasna Conservation Tours (SVC) on the Giant Ibis Birding Tour: 2 days, 1 night. Departing from Siem Reap, we will travel into the heart of Preah Vihear to Tmat Boey Ecolodge, home of the Giant Ibis and White-shouldered Ibis. The Giant Ibis Birding Tour: 2 days, 1 night is perfect for anyone who wants the opportunity to see Giant Ibis in a limited amount of time.

Please note that we would recommend an additional day to see these species as they are not guaranteed in a short timeframe.

For this tour, we also give you the option to visit the Bengal Florican Grasslands to see the world's most endangered bustard species. This would require a 5 am start from Siem Reap.

** Do you want the best chance to see Giant Ibis and White-shouldered Ibis? We also offer 3 days, 2 nights options of this tour. Visit Giant Ibis Birding Tour: 3 Days, 2 Night to learn more **
